2021 Reflections

Wow, it really is  2022.

Can you lot believe it?

Hmmm.. let me stop with my fake British accent before the mandem from across the pond come and get me...

A lot has happened this past year.

2021 was. a. lot.  I am sure that many of you can agree with me.

2021 was definitely a year filled with lots of milestones for me as well.

I graduated with my Bachelor's. I got my first big girl job. I wrestled with a lot of doubt.  Something unexpected happened at work. It made me question a lot. It made me reevaluate my life, my health, and ultimately what I want out of life.

For the most part of 2021, I think I was living my life on autopilot mode. I was not fully present. It felt like I was letting life pass me by.

After going through the motions, I realized that enough is enough. I want to fully check in and be present. I am reclaiming my time. It may seem a bit late since we are almost done with the second month of the new year, but that does not matter. I do not want to be paralyzed by my fears or filled with worries of "what if". Fear has no hold over me and I am moving forward with hope.

Hope you lots 2021 treated you well.  If it did not, let's look forward to better in 2022. Let's not lose hope.

Leaving you with my favorite bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11.

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". (NIV)

 God recently reminded me of this again, and I pray it gives you hope when your situation looks bleak. Never give up.

With peace and love,

Fay =)
